Ayurveda is attributed to Dhanvantari, the physician to the gods in Hindu mythology, who received it from Brahma. Its earliest concepts were set out in the portion of the Vedas known as the Atharvaveda (c. 2nd millennium bce).

The period of Vedic medicine lasted until about 800 bc Ayurveda, a natural system of medicine, originated in India more than 3,000 years ago.

It's based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit. Its main goal is to promote good health, not fight disease. But treatments may be geared toward specific health problems.

Unani system of medicine is a great healing art as well as science. It treats a person as a whole not as a group of individual parts. It is aimed at treating body, mind and soul. This system is based on hippocratic theory of four humors viz. blood, phlegm, yellow bile and black bile.

The origins of Unani medicine are found in the doctrines of the ancient Greek physicians Hippocrates and Galen. As a field, it was later developed and refined through systematic experiment by the Arabs, most prominently by Muslim scholar-physician Avicenna.

Hakim Ajmal Khan (1868-1927 AD) pioneered research in Unani Medicine with modern scientific parameters in the 1920s and is called the Father of Unani system of medicine.

Homeopathy is a medical system based on the belief that the body can cure itself. Those who practice it use tiny amounts of natural substances, like plants and minerals. They believe these stimulate the healing process.

Founded in the late 18th century by a German physician, Samuel Hahnemann, it is coined from the terms “homoios”, which in Greek means similar and “pathos”, which means suffering, referring to the principle of the ‘law of similars’ that is the basis of the treatment in homeopathy.

Homeopathy offers solutions to anxiety disorders and depression by understanding physical and psychological reasons for the patient's symptoms.

Lifestyle is the interests, opinions, behaviours, and behavioural orientations of an individual, group, or culture.[1][2] The term was introduced by Austrian psychologist Alfred Adle. A person's basic character as established early in childhood.

It’s is a way of life influenced by various factors like degrees of affluence and proximity to natural and cultural environments, demography, etc.

A healthy or unhealthy lifestyle will most likely be transmitted across generations. According to the study done by Case et al. (2002), when a 0-3-year-old child has a mother who practices a healthy lifestyle, this child will be 27% more likely to become healthy and adopt the same lifestyle.[10] For instance, high income parents are more likely to eat more fruit and vegetables, have time to exercise, and provide the best living condition to their children. On the other hand, low-income parents are more likely to participate in unhealthy activities such as smoking to help them release poverty-related stress and depression.[11] Parents are the first teacher for every child. Everything that parents do will be very likely transferred to their children through the learning process.
